Mentor Institute
The Indian Institute of Information Technology Agartala (IIIT Agartala) is one of the IIITs established on a Not-for-profit Public-Private Partnership (N-PPP) basis by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. The institute focuses on higher education, research, and training in Information Technology and allied disciplines.
Institute of National Importance: IIIT Agartala was declared an Institute of National Importance on 4 February 2020 by an Act of Parliament under the Indian Institutes of Information Technology (Public-Private Partnership) Act, 2017.
