IIIT Agartala students reside in hostels on the NIT Agartala campus. Separate hostel blocks are available for male and female students, each providing a secure, comfortable, and study-friendly environment.

Hostel Allotment

First-Year Students (Mandatory)
All first-year B.Tech students are required to reside in the hostel. Allotment is done at the time of admission.

Senior Students
Hostel accommodation for 2nd year and above is subject to availability, applied for at the beginning of each academic year.

M.Tech / Ph.D. Students
Research students may apply for hostel accommodation through the Academic Section. Subject to availability.

Anti-Ragging Undertaking
All students must submit a signed anti-ragging undertaking (individual and by parents/guardians) at the time of hostel check-in.

IIIT Agartala has a zero-tolerance policy for ragging in hostels. Violation results in immediate expulsion from the hostel and further disciplinary action. Report any incident to the Warden or the helpline immediately.
